Why we Came to Egypt

We are scientists in the year 2036. We went back in time to ancient Egypt to explore this mysterious civilization. We got to meet a pharoah, see the great pyramid, and learn how to make a mummy. We returned in the year 2039 and want to teach the world about our findings.

Year 1:

We visited the Nile everyday and learned about the geography of Egypt. We observed the patterned flooding of the Nile and learned about its importance  to the Egyptians. From the crops the Egyptians grew due to the fertile soil, we sampled some the Egyptian bread that was made from milk, honey, eggs, flour, and yeast. We looked at some Egyptian inventions and found out how they helped Egyptians in their daily life.

Year 2:

We visited many temples and met King Tut and Ramses II. We were very lucky and got to interview both pharaohs of Egypt. The priests taught us how Egyptians worship and what gods they worshipped.

Year 3:

We went to the pyramids of Giza and observed how to make a mummy. We saw Egyptians making a piece of art called frontalism. The pharoah explained how angles and volume were used to create pyramids.
